Welcome to Auburn House Senior Primary

 
The senior primary level at AUBURN HOUSE broadly follows the Western Cape Educational Department curriculum, but preserves the caring and personal philosophy of the school and the high level of subject content.

 

The emphasis is on

• consolidating and applying the personal skills and resources which have been laid down in the foundation years, and
• acquiring skills which will be required as the children move on into secondary schooling.

 

The subject areas are treated imaginatively and thoroughly. There is an emphasis on creativity through art and technology, music and a variety of sporting and outdoor activities.

 

The class groups are small and focused and there is freedom of movement and a natural interaction with the adults in the environment.

 

Following their High School progress year by year has shown that most Auburn House students remain in the middle to top brackets in classes and many have  achieved outstanding personal and academic results.
