Auburn House Trust
HISTORY
Auburn House has a 20-year history of outreach initiatives and formal training programmes.
In 2013, this was formalised through the Auburn House Trust, an independent PBO and NPO.
OBJECTIVES
To develop awareness in the ECD context of the needs of the developing child, to provide support and mentoring to practitioners and develop the practical resources to be able to meet those needs.
The Trust initiated a ten-year programme – First Children – to meet these objectives.
